At Summit Academy, we are active members of our community, and offer many different program and camp options for ages 4+. With a focus on fun and active learning, our programs are designed to create unforgettable experiences for children, youth and families. We are continuously seeking out opportunities that will benefit individuals and the community as a whole, and offer March Break, Summer, and PD Day camps, Before and After-School Care for students in grades JP-5, Hockey Programs, and a Summer Youth Leadership Program for students in grades 6-9.
Our Community Programs share the same goals, vision, and philosophy as our School Program; to promote active learning by creating opportunities and environments where all participants feel respected, valued and welcome.
At our March Break, Summer and PD Day Camps, we ensure all participants have an engaging and safe experience through active and educational learning opportunities. Children will experience the ease and fun of hands-on learning by incorporating activities in arts and crafts, physical activity, team building challenges, off-site field trips, and exploring the great outdoors.
Our Hockey Programs take place year-round and include Spring Hockey, Summer Hockey Camps and Programs, and Mighty Hockey (Learn to Play). We offer the best in class instruction and with an emphasis on having fun, developing skills, teamwork and leadership. All of our programs are designed and taught by our own professional, experienced and friendly instructors. Our developmental model has a proven track record of providing strong foundational skills and showing students how to apply these skills while at the same time developing their Hockey IQ.
