Jack Hartigan

Director of Goaltending Development – Hockey

Jack is the owner/operator of Finngoalie Training, a well established and highly regarded leader in the field or goalie coaching and development. Jack has worked with several teams in the Maritime Junior League, the NS Major Midget and Major Bantam leagues and is currently a goalie consultant to the Narvik Arctic Eagles (Division 1, Norway).

As the Head of Goaltending Development for Bedford Minor Hockey, Jack oversees the development program for one of the largest minor hockey associations in Atlantic Canada. He has also been actively involved as a goaltending coach with the Hockey Nova Scotia (HNS) High-Performance Program for a number of years.

Jack has been selected to the Hockey Canada National Coaches Mentorship Program, and it is noteworthy that he was also selected to Finland’s Mentorship Program for five years as well. He has coached at the U17, U18, U20 Hockey Canada Performance of Excellence Goaltender Camp on multiple occasions.

A sought-after speaker and presenter at conferences throughout North America and Europe, Jack has also been involved with pro and minor pro programs to perform video analysis and teaching with their goaltenders.

Jack currently works with a number of professional goaltenders, in the North American and European leagues, on a year-round basis and is currently instructing three major junior goaltenders who play in the QMJHL. With four years of Junior A in the US, followed by four years of Professional Hockey in Europe, his personal playing experience is equally impressive.
