Robert O’Brien



A life-long learner, passionate athlete, coach, and entrepreneur, Rob earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2008. He completed executive leadership courses at Harvard University, West Point Military Academy and the Institute of Corporate Directors Education Program, developed by the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Rob worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and with McInnes Cooper in various senior roles from 2001-2012. Since then, he has been involved in several entrepreneurial ventures.

Rob coached in the Ontario Hockey League and was selected to be the Guest Assistant Coach of the Canadian National Team on two separate occasions. He was the Associate Head Coach of the Ontario-U17 Team, representing Ontario at the Canada Winter Games and was awarded Coach of the Year in the Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League. Now actively involved in the Nova Scotia hockey scene, Rob has assisted in the development of may NHL players. He coached the Nova Scotia Provincial U16 team twice to Atlantic Championships and led the Dartmouth Major Midgets to a provincial title and a silver medal in the Atlantic Championships.
